Schoolteacher Blanche Grigson Croxton attended Northwestern University from 1902 through 1906. The Blanche Grigson Croxton Papers comprise one half-size box containing one scrapbook. The scrapbook consists of thirty - six “boards,” mounted on both sides of which is Mrs. Croxton's history of her class, the class of 1906.

Blanche Lenora Grigson was born November 23, 1883 in Augusta, Illinois. With the aid of a scholarship she attended Northwestern Academy, 1900-1902. She attended Northwestern University from 1902 to 1906 where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. For two years following (1906-08) she taught school. In 1908 she married Thomas E. Croxton and lived in Mount Sterling, Illinois. They had two daughters and one son. Mrs. Croxton died in late December, 1969. From the guide to th...
